About National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST)

The National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, also known as NTUST or Taiwan Tech, was the first higher education institution of its kind within our nation’s technical and vocational education system. By extending this system to the highest level, this school was intended to meet the need created by our rapid economic and industrial development for highly trained engineers and managers. Taiwan Tech has 7 colleges, including Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Management, Design, Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Honors and College of Intellectual Property studies. The student body comprises nearly 10,000 students at the bachelor’s, master’s and PhD. levels. Taiwan Tech has been recognized as one of Taiwan’s top universities as well as ranking among Asia’s best public research universities. The university is also committed to international outreach by providing international degree programs in English and scholarships and other financial support for international students as well as encouraging local student to participate in various study abroad programs.
